Terms of Service

The service

Call Standin answers your business phone calls with an AI assistant. It answers questions using your website content, takes messages, transfers calls to a person, and logs every caller. When calendar booking is available, your assistant can also book appointments on your calendar.

Your account

You are responsible for your account, for the information you give us about your business, and for the actions of the people you invite to your organization. Keep your password safe.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service to break the law or the rights of others.
• Do not use it to harass, threaten or deceive callers.
• Do not use it for emergency services.
• Do not try to access another customer's data.

Call recording consent

Your calls are recorded. You are responsible for meeting recording consent requirements where you and your callers are located, and for any notices your callers must hear.

If we believe your use of the service breaks the law or these terms, we can suspend your service.

AI limitations

The assistant is software, not a person. It can misunderstand a caller or give an incomplete answer. It is not for emergency calls, and it cannot handle situations that need a human judgment.

We do not promise that its answers are accurate or complete. Review your call log and messages.

Billing and plans

We bill through Stripe. Plans are month to month, and the plan you pick sets the included minutes. Calls beyond your plan's minutes are billed at the overage rate shown at checkout.

There is no free trial. The prices shown at checkout are the prices you pay.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time, and your plan will not renew. We do not offer refunds for payments already made.

Suspension and termination

We can suspend or end your account if you break these terms or use the service in a way that puts other customers or our providers at risk. If that happens, we will tell you by email when we can.

You can close your account at any time.

Limits on liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties beyond what the law requires. To the extent the law allows, Shadow Bear Media is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost business. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we post the new version on this page. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect.
